Bits and pieces
A few bits and pieces that I didn’t include in my video.
As the blurb says “The Geartronic CNC turns your ideas into reality by carving 3D objects from materials such as wood, plastic, foam, and PCB.” Although it does seem to be very light on information in the campaign details.
If you’re a fan of retro, then this might be the thing.
Yet another robotic arm. This one coming in fairly cheap at US$80. It’s an injected molded case, so they’re pretty keen, (as injection molding setup costs a lot).
The second generation of the MOD-t 3D printer claiming a bunch of enhancements for only US$199 for the early bird.
Nice. A “cloud” connected 3D printer running off a BeagleBone Black.
Oh look! Another 3D printer! This one based on the DLP technology. This one seems to be fairly mature.
Oh! Another 3D printer. Haven’t we finished the craze yet? Apparently this “Offers CNC Carving, Laser Engraving & 3D Printing In One Design. The new standard in accuracy and precision.”
Hey, another 3D printer! Look at that.
Wow! a speech compression IC supporting G.729 & G.726 vocoders at 4kbps. How much lower can you get?
